The weight of this is perfect for Nebraska’s cooler springs and falls.For winter we will add another blanket but by no means is it “thin”–it just gets that cold.The style of it says “I’m not a little girl any more but I’m not a teen either.”My daughter is 9 and loves the Cool Cat pillow.We paired with grey, semi-sheer curtains and bright pink/yellow accents.The additional sham looks pink in the photo but is also grey.

Really cute set! Comforter and sham wash well, came out a little wrinkled but that’s expected with cotton. Colors are vibrant and the comforter is lightweight but warm. Would definitely buy again!
