This bed was EVERYTHING I was looking for! I wanted a floor bed for my youngest daughter but stairs for my older daughter. I also wanted solid wood and not flimsy particle board. This ticked all the boxes. I am still loving it and my girls love it too! I looked at hundreds of different bunk beds and this one was the best.

This style of bunk bed we purchased for our 2 and 4 year old girls.The little one is just about fully potty trained and it was important that there was a safe way to get down at night so she could make it to the potty.Apart from a few frustrating hiccups with the instructions and the help of my in-laws we took 2 days to put this together.(We needed a break.)
Our girls love it!We like that it is sturdy and made of solid wood. Also that the top bunk is lower so that we can reach the kids/lay them down up there when they fall asleep.I thought the clearance of the lower bunk would bother me, but it’s plenty for aLittle.I could sleep down there comfortably.The bunks give us more floor space in their little room and we’re all happy with it.

Perfect size for my daughters’ room! It was not too complicated for my husband to put together. I personally love how the bottom bunk is close to the floor so we don’t have to worry about my 2 yr old falling off the bed. The top bunk is also not very high which is great because it doesn’t darken the room. The color is a nice change from your typical white (which I initially thought of purchasing). The stairs are super cute and a great alternative to the traditional ladder. Highly recommend! I’ve had so many people ask me about this bed!

It’s a little difficult to match up everything when assembling it- so we did it both right and left side and the left side just seemed to work better. I love the durability and the paint color and the quality wood. So I update my review to 5 stars cause really the assembly could have been user error.
