Mounts on a screen frame with professional installation.Perfect for our Jack Russell.We had the screen company mount it on the bottom frame of the pool cage and it’s just the right height for him to step over.We placed pavers on the outside to keep the step over level.The U-channel on the edge of the door fit perfectly with the standard screen frame.Photo shows it mounted next to the big dog’s door.

Door works great.However, during install, it is REALLY fussy getting the holes on the inner and outer pieces to line up together.I had to keep drilling the holes larger to accommodate for the strange angles of screws so they could tilt up or down to line up with the inside piece.Also, these screws are ridiculously long (presumably to account for many thicknesses of doors). Would recommend the manufacturer should instead include several sets of screws that are different lengths – bc instructions tell you to use a hacksaw to saw off screws if they are too long, come on.Overall, though, this is a sturdy little door for the price.
