Ordered 2 of these for a 6 and 4 year old. I’m really pleased with the quality, thick sturdy wood. No scratches or blemishes (had 2 screws break on the back of the desks in the same spot but Wayfair is sending replacements). Extremely happy with the purchase. I would say the size of the desk is perfect for elementary aged children. My husband put them together by himself in 3 hours total.
