I bought 2 sets of this flatware in the black color. It is absolutely gorgeous and unique!! High quality and the black absolutely feels like it is baked into the stainless—it’s NOT coming off imho. It’s kind of like wrought iron to me but it’s MUCH prettier! I love the 3 prong forks—so nice looking! These are heavy in your hand, but not too heavy. Thy just feel great! There is no break in the looping on the ends of the utensils, but it’s just one continuous gorgeous piece of metal.Just love the black finish which subtly blends into the silver stainless on the “eating” part that you use. These are BIG spoons. I’ve taken a pic of my old set to try and show how much bigger these are, but I actually love that the spoons are big! They are not at all a problem to eat with! I have a big mouth though (lol). Anyway, I hope this helps someone else with their decision. Also, the sets came very nicely packaged, with a 5 piece service setting being displayed on top and then each of the remaining utensils being underneath, individually contained in its own plastic sleeve! I’ll be washing these by hand, even though it says you can wash in the dishwasher.Thanks to Wayfair for having such great quality products that are very securely packaged and shipped quickly!! Oh and by the way…the drawer organizer holding my new flatware is the “rev-a-shelf” and I love love love those too! UPDATE: pics didn’t attach previously, so I’m trying to attach them again.

I’ve been looking for a new flatware set for quite a while, and found none that compare to this uniquely beautiful set. The ‘Handmade Twist N Shout’ design and detail is gorgeous, plus nicely weighted. I found that the knot near the ends of each piece is perfect to hang just over the edge of a plate so as not to fall in. In fact, I liked the quality and design so much that I also purchased the serving set and the ‘cocktail/snack’ size knife, spoon, and fork sets. Then, of course, I purchased two Sather Drawer Organizers to put it all in (see review).

I have had the silverware for a week or so, I love them, they look amazing with my new dishes from wayfair as well. I have a dishwasher, but we wash every thing by hand, cause there is only the two of us. I have read one person had rust down on the bottom part, from being in the dishwasher. I am sure if they are taken out when the machine is done, there should be no trouble. We’ll see what happens in time. The comment did not distract me from buying then, they are just beautiful, I can’t wait to have company.
