This 50 Gallon Rain Barrel is a 50 gallon rain saver that comes packed with features. Immediately, you can tell that this is a high quality barrel. The deep wood grain texture and the darkened ribs pop out and capture the eye. The authentic whiskey barrel look is completed with two brass spigots. These spigots are located at locations to optimize flow: One at the bottom to get the most out of the barrel and one on the size to utilize buckets and linking. The spigots are 0.75″ and will work with all standard hoses. The top of the barrel holds a locking, removable top. By twisting, you can keep the barrel sealed to protect young ones and keep out mosquitos. Just twist it the other way and it lifts off. At the center of the lid is a mesh screen that will accommodate all standard downspouts and keep out bugs and leaves. The tapered nature of the lid minimizes splashing and funnels all the water towards the anti-debris screen. Start collecting fresh, chemical-free water for your lawn and garden with this 50 Gallon Rain Barrel.

Attractive barrel which functions as described. Unfortunately, filled to capacity and overflowed within minutes during first rain storm which measured 1.2 inches in the rain gauge. Might be better during a slower shorter storm.

Great barrel. I needed one that was actually round, not half-round. Didn’t realize it comes with a Stand. (Don’t really need the stand for our situation.) Note: the Stand is shipped inside the barrel, and was quite difficult to get out. We ended up squeezing some dishwashing soap on it to wiggle it out of the barrel! Seems of nice quality. We bought a second one for our other house.
