The tumbler composter is a duel composter that produces double quantity compost in one tumbler composter. It is made from plastic material that has the strength to withstand extreme weather conditions. The black finish of this composter captures solar heat that boosts the process of composting. This duel tumbling composter has a lid on top for child-safe and pet-safe use. It has aeration holes on sides that function to prevent bad odor and provide fresh air to the compost. The tumbler composter is approved by the food and drug administration as a safe and efficient composter.

It spins nicely. I propped it up on some bricks so I could access the “compost tea”.

We got this for our Dad who has everything he needs and is responsible for taking out the food scraps. He uses it faithfully although he doesn’t separate the meat which results in maggots…but it’s a nice set up and was a good purchase.I like that you have two going at the same time so you can stop one but still have somewhere to put the new stuff.
Pros: Looks nice and easy to keep track of which compartment to add to.
Cindy (verified owner) –
Rolls well on it’s base. It has two separate compartments, but rolls as one unit. I like the port hole type openers. Seems sturdy and should last a long time. No more opossums, skunks, or raccoons lifting a door to help themselves to the goodies. Good size for the kitchen compost as well as some gardening compost. Not big enough for yard waste.
Pros: Sturdy, well-made

Just what we were looking for. Composts quickly and the “tea” collected in the base is great for plants around the yard. We use ours outside year round, even through the long Wyoming winter.
Pros: Durable, composts quickly
Cons: none

Works great, good size for lots of kitchen scraps, and I like that it sits directly on a base for safety of my young kids. The basin that collects compost tea is a nice touch, as well.
Pros: basin collects compost tea, sits on base

Only having owned this for a few days, I cannot verify its composting abilities. However, I can say it is sturdy, came fully assembled, and seems just the right size for our family.
Pros: Arrives assembled, sturdy
Tracie (verified owner) –
Very happy with this composter. The two chambers allow each side to “cook” separately.Easy to turn and to fill.Great use for paper scraps as well as veggies and fruits.
Pros: Very easy to use
Cons: None
Matt (verified owner) –
This item arrived quickly and fully assembled which was nice. Its a little heavier than you think and the solidness lets you know that it will last. It rolls easily on the rollers located on the base.
Paula (verified owner) –
Prompt shipping, just what we expected, already have it set up in our garden and waiting for our first load of compost!!Easy assembly, just heavy enough to be durable but light enough to handle
Elizabeth (verified owner) –
Very easy to use and seems to be working well.If your compost gets too wet, you will get some leakage. But I assume this is a common issue with all compost bins since drainage is important.
