The full grown cat jumps up and really only likes the sitting area with the end to kind of hold him in. The little kitten will actually climb up the stairs and go in the tunnel type box and basically jump everywhere. They love the scratching posts too. Great purchase.
Since the kitten is getting bigger, we are going to buy another one with two sitting areas with the edges verses just the flat area like this on has on top.
But overall, I think this is GREAT.

My cats love their new tower. It was quick and easy to assemble and great quality. It was the best purchase I made for them and it is getting a lot of use. The only couple things that I don’t like about it but doesn’t effect the star rating is: I think it would have been better to not have the hole right by the cubby part. I think if the ladder was on the outside of the landing and the 2nd floor didn’t have a hole it would be easier for the cats. Also, when you first get it there are lots of blue “carpet” pieces that come off. My cats did manage to get the mouse off in the first night because they kept jumping off with it in their mouth. In the pic, my big black cat would get the mouse in his mouth and jump off with in it from that 3rd level. Overall, we all love it and the cats are happy.

This is a very nice cat tree! It was super easy to put together, and it only took about 15 minutes. I have 3 large adult cats, and a 10 week old kitten, and they can all fit on it with no problems
