The doors were delivered quickly and in perfect condition. My first impression was the joinery, knotty pine, and finish was good enough for high quality furniture.
To maintain a rustic theme we used Minwax gray interior stain and replaced wood with wrought iron door pulls.
The instructions for installation were fine up to a point. They stated adjustments could be made up to 14”. In the rough opening I had I never had more than an 18” to spare. Because of that The installation of the hinge pins was a real challenge. If you’re a DIY’er like me, I suggest you do Google video search for “Freeport bifold doors 1700 series” before you start the installation.

Very solidly made door.The extra money is worth the better quality.It had a few minor imperfections but easily sanded out.Have not installed yet but all hardware seems to be included.We have stained ours and would recommend using Minwax Pre-stain wood conditioner which helps stain application uniformity.Still have to polyurethane but I am happy with my purchase.I will be ordering a matching regular passage door made from Frameport.

These doors were a little challenging to hang, but after watching a YouTube video about the hardware we figured it out. They are a nice, solid quality, much sturdier than the original louvered doors we are replacing. The floating hinge for the bottom lets them slide easily without dragging on the carpet. We can stain them to match. This is a for a log house, so they go perfectly with the walls and beams for that rustic look.
