Well packaged, but it does come in two boxes and ours arrived on separate days. Very easy to assemble and helpful information about how high over the game table it should be hung. Note the lamp Shad’s look really big when you take them out of the box bit the proportion works.

this light is perfect for our needs, over our pool table in our basement.The inside of the shades is white, which causes a pretty stark reflection, but it’s fine for where we have it.Plus the kids wont break the shades because they are metal and not glass.
