This is a sturdy, well-made garden stake,The colorful bird is shiny and looks great day or night.The only downside is that the solar on/off switch was difficult to move.

I bought the light blue bird and the quality of this piece is amazing. The stake is substantial. I have not had any problems with it holding up under the heavy rains and high winds that we can get in this area. The colors of the glass are just beautiful, and become vivid at night when the solar power kicks. Initially I thought that the item was defective – It took me a little bit of time to figure out how to get the solar lighting to work. Like many solar pieces, you must turn the switch on, but the switch on this piece was not as visible/obvious as others pieces I own. That could be just me as I have just recently started adding solar pieces to my garden. This piece is a bit pricey, but well worth the money.I’m thinking of purchasing another one when and if the darker blue bird becomes available.
