Purchased the railing, installed it, and it looks lovely!Definitely dressed up the room.However, beware!The boards are precisely 94 inches long, NOT 96 inches as described.This made a difference to me as two of my walls were 95 inches (a powder room,) and thus had to be pieced with small inserts.I’m not an expert, so it was a challenge for me.Also, I painted the boards with latex top quality semi gloss paint -2 coats.The boards look great, but have a “sticky” or “tacky” feel to them – like they’re not set or dry.We live in Las Vegas with minimal humidity, and it’s been several days, so not sure why they feel this way.No one at the paint store can give me an explanation.Fingers crossed that they will be ok over time and not be ‘dirt & dust catchers.For all the ‘buts’ the room does look beautiful!I would purchase again, but would be aware of the size, and probably seek a “sticky” explanation first.

I’ve used this modling before, and I like the looks of it very much. I just wish it came in 96″ lengths and not 94.5″ lengths.
