Just received the chair.It looks like the picture and feels very sturdy.
I haven’t gotten it installed yet, hopefully when it gets installed in my newly renovated shower/bathroom it will be perfect!

Very sturdy, without looking like medical equipment. The wood is nice and smooth, and the seat folds up to make space. I think it would work well in any location, not just a shower.

I just love these!We bought 2; one for either side of our walk-through shower.I was going to have bench seating built in until I found these and they are perfect – sturdy and able to support the necessary weight; but they can be folded out of the way when not in use and the folded bench still looks good.
