This mat is deeper than most competitive mats, with a unique front extension to provide extra protection against drops and spills in front of the main grilling surface, the area most prone to drips and spills where food is loaded and removed from the grill.

I needed this grill mat…so much, to protect our new concrete patio.We grille often and were concerned enough about the grease… damaging our new concrete. We were preparing to create another surface area off the patio (At a significant cost to us) to place the grill on.This mat is the perfect protection for our concrete.The black color looks great with out Stainless Grill and the Antique Sewing Side table stand.They both fit on the mat..LOVE IT!I placed the grill & Side Table to the edges of the mat, in an effort to get the mat to lay flat (note: these pictures were taken, immediately after I took the mat out of the box) I believe once the mat has time to relax, it will lay flat on it’s own.I didn’t even know Grill Mats were available!We have a 4 burner grill and the mat is sufficiently sized for the grill, plus extra room.If the mat doesn’t lay flat, I will amend this review.If the mat suffers any other deterioration…. I will amend this review, but for now, THANK YOU WAYFAIR.

We just installed a new deck made of composite wood. Composite wood is so much more expensive than regular wood so we wanted to protect the deck when grilling.We had a grill mat some time ago and it was flimsy and eventually fell apart. This mat is heavy duty and stays put. It wipes clean with ease. Some mats can leave a mark on composite decking but I have not found that to be the case with this mat so far. Grilltex is known for quality grilling accessories and I can say this mat is indeed high quality.

Fits beautifully under a large grill with two side shelves.Easy to clean-I took it outside, sprayed with Simple Green and hosed it off!Was delivered rolled up in a box but two warm days in the sun on the deck flattened it right out.

Exactly what you’d think. It’s a perfect layer of protection between the metal grill legs and what could fall from the grill and our wooden deck planks. It’s thin but durable. Just what was needed and very easy to put down.

I really like my grill mat. One earlier review said the ends would not go down. However, I rolled mine out and the next day the ends were flat

Great grill mat! I like the wide angle to it so it can be used for a larger grill. I like that the rubber is thick, and will keep the deck clean and hold up in inclement weather.
It can easily be hosed down, and keeps my dogs water bowl in place. If you are looking for a grill mat this will be a great choice!

Our Grilltex Grill protective mat has already come in very handy. My husband was grilling a steak out on our front deck and was glad it was there underneath the grill when a pile of hot ashes was accidentally spilled down on the ground. Fortunately the protective mat was there to catch them insteadof them landing on the wooden deck.The ashes were super easy to clean up and the mat is a good as new. Sure glad we had it.
