This is a great and solid piece, and I did lots of research and comparisons before buying this one.I’m very pleased with the amount of storage, too.The color is a bit difficult to describe, though I actually love it.It’s main “base color” is indeed cream, though it also has some hues of very subtle bluish-gray tones in some areas.It was packaged very well, so even though the outer cardboard shipping box had slight damage, the heavily-protected and well-packed armoire was safe and sound, and there were no issues at all upon unpacking.The only assembly was screwing on the top lid, and the bottom 4 legs.One could absolutely opt to leave off the legs if desired.I am very pleased with this armoire and company!

Only one minor concern the lid is attached with four tiny screws. Two of the screw holes were stripped before assembling.
