This is a great addition to a climbing 9′ climbing wall I built for my kids. The firemans pole is 9′, and I wanted to have the full length fire pole. I poured a concrete post hole with a pipe that fit inside the firemans pole and slid the pole on top of the other pipe. It is solid and I am happy with the purchase.
