Heavy, sturdy, and beautiful. Complements my old brick wood stove and the size is just right. I have had to tighten the bolts on the adjustable feet with regular use, but overall I would recommend this fireplace screen.

This fireplace screen looks really nice, sits very close to the surface leaving very little gap around the edges (certainly nothing that would cause a safety issue) and is very sturdy thanks to the feet on the front and back of the screen. The magnetic closure is an appropriate hold to keep the door firmly closed, which I though would resist popping open if a small log rolled off and bumped the screen (though that hasn’t been proven), but light enough where it doesn’t rock the screen forward when pulling the door open.The item also arrived in excellent condition, unlike a screen I had previously ordered from another vendor and had to return.Highly satisfied with this screen!
