This limits any fading of even the brightest colors. Even white towels are dyed white, not bleach white. For maximum color retention and softness, do not use any bleach when washing these towels. You will feel the softness immediately, and the towels will get softer after each washing. After reading other reviews I ordered this towel.I washed it twice before using it, There was ton’s of lint in my drier, but none on me.I have washed it since and there is still much lint, but it is a great towel and does a suprime job.

Some of the towels are great as they wash well. However, the navy blue and black towels I ordered do not wash well at all. The fabric rolled and leaves tiny lint all over the skin as you dry off. I had to throw the navy and black towels out. Very disappointed because those were colors I wanted.
