Studio C Bookcase

This a solid built bookcase. The shelves are thick enough to support heavy large sized books and looks great. The assembly was easy and instructions self explanatory. I especially appreciated the expert packing that prevented any damage from occurring during shipment.

We were quite skeptical about ordering these online.They are heavy and there was much opportunity for damage.We ordered two, to be used separately. Size was extremely important as was the ability tohave adjustable shelving.These fit the space and the color choice was available. When the order arrived, it came in two 80-pound+ boxes to be assembled. Help is needed in moving these. Despite being heavy they are also awkward. They were moved again and finally assembled by my husband. I helped with holding parts while they were bolted in place, and moving the finished product. All parts were present and accounted for and all the manufactured wood pieces were corrected pre-drilled for the locking mounts, and undamaged. Despite two moves while packed, they arrived unscathed.Assembled, they are quite heavy and not sturdy enough to be moved while the shelves are loaded. But they are quite stable as built and needed no wall mounting. The shelves do not sag and the back is acceptable. It is painted cardboard, which is attached with tiny brads, that are included. If you are handy and need a sturdier back, buying a thin piece of wood and painting it to match would work and upgrade the bookshelves to what would have been a more pricey unit.As it came was acceptable for us. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend these shelving units. Additionally, they can be used side by side in multiples so they present as a wall unit, but they do not connect to one another as sold.

The bookcases are very heavy and I had to remove each piece from their boxes and bring it up to 2 flights of steps to their space. Don’t regret it though because they’re pretty!

I ordered the platinum gray color and it looks great with my tv stand I was trying to match it with!! The size is prefect and I love the depth of the shelves. It was pretty easy to put together and seems really sturdy. I’m so happy with my purchase!!
