I intended to spray paint them gold and put a light in it and that’s exactly what I did with them so no complaints. If I was using as is the silver was already faded and discolored so I would have been upset.

I love the look of these lights. The only downside is the go through batteries quickly. I highly recommend getting rechargeable batteries.

Runs on 3 AAA batteries. Surprisingly bright. Intend to leave them on the mantel year round. Only used one so far, as I need to get more AAA batteries. Stays cool, but that is based on only a single use.
