So I splurged a little on this kickplate and I’m hoping it will last as long as it claims. My last kickplate became so pitted from the weather even though it wasn’t exposed to the outdoors. This product is much heavier than most plates and was very easy to install. It came with extra screws, which is always helpful, and the packaging was amazing. Also there is a vinyl film over the brass side and you can install with the film still intact. It peels off easily after installation. Another great product from Wayfair!
