Hot-forged brass in the traditional style of the 1800s, the design is taken from Louis xvi school of architecture c.1774-1792 featuring the ever-popular fleur de lis which for centuries had stood as a symbol of the old French monarchy. This classic design really comes alive in antique brass and Venetian bronze. All brass accents finishes are hand-rubbed and assembled in the USA. The flat surface area of the plate is 2-3/8″ x 7-3/4″.
