This sandbox is the perfect backyard solution for little ones. My grandsons were taught to close the sandbox when they were finished to keep the sand clean!It is a unique design with the benches and the cover.It came on time, no damage…..and the Wayfair price was far lower than any other site!!!!!This is a no risk purchase!!Thank you Wayfair.com!!!!!

My 3 year old granddaughter loves digging in a sandbox. When I purchased this, one of the reviews said the top would get water and collapse so I was concerned that would happen. But I can tell you even though it is only attached with velcro it will hold. We had straight line winds that took her trampoline through the fence and sent it across the road into a field and the top of her sandbox did not move. We may have to reinforce it as it gets older but for now it is her favorite place to be.

This sandbox has exceeded my expectations. I put it together on my own in about an hour. The sun shade is perfect for keeping my daughter out of the sun. The materials it is made from seem durable and it looks much nicer than a plastic sandbox. I would recommend digging down a few inches before filling in the sand to avoid mixing the two. Most of all, my daughter loves playing in it and that she is able to sit on the bench around the outer edge.

After comparing a plethora of sandboxes elsewhere, I decided onthe Convertible Cedar 4′ Rectangular Sandbox from Wayfair.com.The wood complements my garden… no bright red plastic lobster staring back at me!My son loved playing in it yesterday and I loved playing along with him. The attached benches easily expands as a built in cover when you are not using it and the canopy protects our little ones (and parents) from the sun. It’s affordable, the quality is very good and easy to assemble.

This is a beautiful covered sandbox that is well made and will look sweet in anyone’s backyard. The built in benches are an added attraction and will provide a great place of play for years. The tarp keeps the sun down and the bottom of the box is open for the sand. This allows for proper drainage and prevents moisture from being trapped. Does not include the sand.
