Decorative Cast Iron Metal Trivet

If you are looking for a cast iron trivet, THIS IS THE ONE. Seriously, I have returned and/or lived with so many terrible ones (one, the “metal” gave off such a foul odor it was completely unusable!). This is high-quality — sturdy; the paint does not come off; it has four “feet” (not 3 like many round ones) with the rubber things on the feet — and they are firmly on there, too! Any negatives — it is not overly huge (8″) and a little more “decorative” than I’d like — but, really, this is the best one I have found, and I’ve been looking for a long time. Also, it does come with an attachedcast-iron piece (small) on the bottom with a little metal (like a cheap key ring) hook, to hang it on a wall. Not sure it would hang for long that way, since the trivet is pretty hefty (in weight). I didn’t want that, so I just took off the little metal hanger piece. But if you did want to hang it, and the little piece that comes with it was too flimsy, you could just get a heavier one.
