I installed this to my master BR closetlaundry room and love how it turned out. Surprised that the door had to be assembled (my nephew did that and the installation).Of interest, the instructions included in the box do not mention the need for a 1×4 behind the rail but the online installation instructions do. Glad that I had read the online version before ordering.

This is a bear to assemble and install, but once up, it’s amazing. I had to use a 1×4 painted the color of the wall to install the track because of the existing door frame; it’s that piece of wood we attached to studs (requiring extra screws) before mounting the rail to it. Be sure you measure very carefully so that the bottom of the door hits the guide. It helps when your son is an engineer and the project manager. 🙂
