Palomino CozyUp Bed Ramp

I purchased this after doing much research on the best thing for a pet to use as they age.My cat Bobbie, is 19 years old.I’ve had him since he was 4 weeks old and the ruby of the litter.He came into the humane society with his mom and a full litter.He was the last one remaining that nobody adopted out.Even the adult mom was taken before him.I found this guy in the back of the cage so tiny with one eye sealed shut.Obviously nobody wanted him cause he was underweight and his eye was infected.When I saw him I just knew he was the one for me.I was only 21 years old then.I’m now almost 43 and he has been my one constant.Through jobs, divorce, and moves.I had stairs that he used to use well until he stumbled off of them and it took him over a week and much money to the vet to bounce back.Those stairs were good but they were steep.Over the last year I would hold my breath as he would walk down from the bed.At his age, he can’t afford anymore falls.It was so bad that I couldn’t sleep at night because I was so scared he would fall off the stairs.
I purchased this ramp but didn’t have high hopes after reading what I read in the reviews.I actually didn’t even bother to put it together for 2 weeks cause I figured it wouldn’t make a huge difference.
Wow was I ever wrong.My boy can go up and down this ramp and I don’t worry. Ever.It’s not steep and it allows his body to function without putting strain on his little body.He is so important to me.
Not only is he moving better, I’m even sleeping through the night because I’m not on edge worrying about him falling.Other people have commented about the carpet and it being slippery.I can’t speak for dogs, but for my 19, almost 20 year old cat…he rocks this thing like he created it. 🙂

It’s worth every penny

Finally! I am so pleased with this ramp for my two little dogs! I have a very tiny, very short legged, 5 lb Chihuahua and a 12 lb Affenpinscher. Now, they both can get on and off the bed without any help. It fits perfectly in front of my king size bed although, I do wish it came in white as I’ll need to paint it to match the room. As others mentioned, it is in fact a little slippery on the carpeted surface, more so for the bigger of the two dogs. I’ll probably need to add some rubber tread to this but overall, this was a great purchase and I would highly recommend this for others who have little dogs that need help up.

Got the ramp on Friday. My 15lb Maltipoo is recovering from a spinal cord injury and could not go up her steps into my bed any longer. She was skeptical of the ramp at first. But by Monday she was going up and down with much more ease. Having back problems myself this is going to be great. She needs no assistance going up or down from me. I am so grateful. And it is a pretty piece of furniture. I could have had it together in 1/2 hour but because of my back it took 1 hour. Once again, thank u.

Works great for an extremely tall bed and ideal if you have a king size as it works perfectly with it either parallel or perpendicular to it. Construction seems sturdy, super easy to follow instructions (only 4 panels of them), and I’ve used PetSafe products for years and am rarely disappointed in quality.

Works great for my older dog and fits perfect with my high bed frame.
