We are currently in summer months, so we have not used it yet. The instructions say to use in the winter and remove before you start using your AC in the summer. Looks durable and comes with bungee cords, one for each corner.

This is first season of use for this item.I almost needed a 3rd hand to keep one corner in place, while I fastened the other corners down.Should be much better than the particle board painted cover used the previous season, which gave away a few splinters, after lasting through a Maine winter.
