This box spring is brilliant! We finally can use the bed in our guest bedroom. We have a queen sized bed with a platform bed frame. Our mattress and boxspring were expensive orthopedic ones, but when we moved into our new (old) home, the boxspring didn’t fit up the narrow staircase (with two turns) to the third floor! (Plus small doors—the house was built in 1906.) So the mattress had to go on the platform bed (luckily the moving guys dissembled and reassembled it) without its support, meaning nothing heavier than our cats could nap on it. Until I saw the Huxley High Profile Box Spring on Wayfair, I didn’t realize these existed! I simply unboxed the metal frame and carried the elements up the stairs (no need to lug the whole 50 lbs up in one go). As you can see, the parts are clearly labeledwith numbers, and the directions were easy! The third photo shows all the parts—really, it is easier than your average LEGO project. I had the box spring put together in about 35 minutes, and the cage (as I call it) fits perfectly in the queen sized platform bed. The grey fabric cover was easy to put on, too, and the mattress slid right over it. Now our mattress is above the edge of the platform again, and we finally can have our friends visit for the weekend, since the mattress will not fall on to the floor. The bed seems as comfy as ever and is well supported. This is a great product if you need a boxspring, or can’t get your one piece boxspring up narrow stairs.

This is a nice box spring. This is my first time purchasing a metal box spring and I will definitely be purchasing another. The step by step wording for the directions was confusing but the parts diagram is laid out well enough to copy the pictures. I put this together myself in just under 45mins. It could definitely go faster but again the directions. My suggestion would be to Nate up all the pieces 1st the assemble it makes a world of difference. I have a hybrid mattress that seems to be fine although the cross braces are pretty spacey. If anyone is looking to have additional support could definitely get some wood planks to fill the gaps but otherwise a worthy purchase. Feels like it’s going to hold up. No need to replace wooden box springs.

I absolutely loved this foundation, it was very easy to build and the frame is very sturdy. This high profile box spring took me under thirty minutes to build. It looks great and you cannot tell that it’s not a mattress set. Highly recommend

I absolutely love this box spring! It arrived in a tall thin box. I am 5’3 and was able to pick this up and bring it upstairs alone. It was easy to assemble alone! I have had wooden box springs in the past and they never last. Makes the bed sink. This is great for comfort and peace of mind that that will not happen again! 5 stars!!

This saved me from sleeping on the floor. I wasn’t sure which box spring to get because my bed frame just came with three wooden planks. But, this box spring holds up tremendously. It makes ZERO noise. I love it!

Very sturdy box spring frame! Easy to assemble with instructions included. It came with extra hardware, which is nice. You can assemble with tools provided but would recommend using your own 10 mm ratchet wrench if you have one. Shipped promptly and in a manageable box to handle for one person.

I ordered this box spring for the mattress I am using for my new Ameer full sized bed that I also purchased at Wayfair.It came within three days.Many pieces but the instructions were good and hubby put it together within 35 minutes.Once assembled, it was strong and sturdy.The gray covering was of really nice quality and matched the gray of the bed and room.
