WOO-HOO! What a kick! You pull this out of the box, unfold it, and Voila! a genuine box spring in the mail! We were moving to a new home. I knew we’d arrive exhausted to an empty house, so I had Wayfair ship a few necessities to us. Mattresses, box springs, etc. I decided to spring (pun intended) for this one, which is about twice the price of some of the other mattress foundations on Wayfair, because of the reviews that described what I’ve just said. It’s true! We had a handyman unwrap the memory foam mattresses I ordered a couple of days before we got there. They fluffed up. We unboxed this, unfolded it, and put it on our new bed, with the comforters and other stuff I had Wayfair send. Best sleep I’ve ever had. Great way to have a place to land when we arrived late. Worth every penny. Can’t show a photo of the steel foundation, but here’s the done up bed.

This is my first time buying a nontraditional box spring. I was hesitant at first, but very pleased with the ease of shipment and setup. I live in a high-rise and was able to slide the shipped box easily through the elevator and into my condo alone. Packaging was simple to unwrap. No need to assemble anything – just unfold and it expands to the 7.5″ height. Great design and will be easy for me to pack and transport when I move.

INCREDIBLE design and functionality!!!Sorry I didn’t take a pic showing the box springs, but they are there.I read reviews about the ease of assembly…there is NO ASSEMBLY.Take em out the box, unfold them, place them!

This box spring is a great invention! Box came with a rip in it but thats to be expected with shipping and due to the fact that I love in an apartment on the 3rd floor. Easy to unbox. Easy to unfold and set up on bed. Happy it was suggested in the comments of this Iron bed that I also purchased from Wayfair. Wayfair truly has just what I need!!

My fiancé put the box spring on while I was at work. From what he described it was very simple to unpack , open up and wallah !!! Our bed is a platform and our mattress is a 10” Hybrid. It definitely made a major comfortable , securing difference. Me being 5’7” once I sit on the bed it’s no brainer that my feet is a good 5” off the floor. My fiancé is 6’1” and even his feet don’t touch the floor anymore lol.
We are both on the heavy side and the foundation holds up to 1500lbs which is waaaaayyyyyyy more than what we weigh so to feel secured is a major plus lol.

I have never encountered a box spring like this (I actually thought that I had received the incorrect item when I saw the very thin] box). Thankfully, the piece is very easy to “assemble” — simply take it out of the box and as you’re unfolding per the instructions, the support structure unfurls & locks into place — and is a solid design.
