The mail post was easy to install. The newspaper feature allowed us to get rid of the newspaper box. Now there is only one thing there; the mail post. It looks wonderful.

Love this mailbox and we immediately had compliments from neighbors and the next day, had a personal, hand written note from the U.S. Postal Service mail delivery lady who said, “nice mailbox, thanks!”We added Wayfair’s classic post mounted mailbox with rain overhang (very substantial and very nice) and their solar cap to top it off.My husband installed it over a treated 4×4 buried 30″ deep and he added a 2.5” cement ledge so the weed wacker wouldn’t walk off and mar the bottom of the mailbox post (see picture). Great mailbox Wayfair.
