I bought this for our bunny when we moved her indoors. She is rather large and we tried to put the litter box inside of the hutch, but she had a hard time fitting in the litter box when it was inside the hutch and quit using her litter box. Once I took it out, she went back to using her litter box. We constantly find her hanging out in both stories of the hutch. I love how easy it is to clean.She of course has chewed on the wood, but it will hold up for a long time. It is “cheap” wood but it works for our bunny. It was easy to assemble – I did it by myself. I love that it’s on rollers too so we can move it and clean under it.

Purchased these for indoor use for our guinea pigs.Exactly what I was looking for.Nice quality product.Easy to put together, took about 45 mins.I ended up ordering a second one!

I got this for a small NYC apartment and a single fairly large and chaotic pet rabbit (about 4lbs and would probably be chihuahua-sized if he had longer legs). Solid construction and fairly easy assembly (there were some mistakes in the directions, so double-check which screws it’s telling you to use vs what will actually fit in the given space). My rabbit took a couple of small chunks out of the frame within the first 24 hours, but he’s pretty destructive so that’s not exactly surprising! I pitched the bottom screens because he’s litterbox trained, and a regular-size cat litterbox (at least according to the pet store, I know nothing about cats or standard litterbox sizes) fits nicely in the upstairs portion with room to spare. We also didn’t install the hay rack, because (a) he’s a big boy who eats a lot more than that and also likes to tear things off the wall and throw them, and (b) the screws that came with it are TINY, of course, and there’s a very small gap on the side between the tray and the wall and once the screws inevitably slip out of your hand and fall down there, you are NOT getting them back without taking the whole thing apart. I had a lot of anxiety about whether he’d be able to get in there and eat some metal or something but considering I couldn’t get them out with freaking forceps, I’m pretty sure they’re in for the long haul and not coming out again.
The casters are way more heavy duty than expected and INCREDIBLY handy for cleaning. All in all, I’m incredibly happy with this hutch, and this is coming from somebody who probably spent a month obsessively measuring spaces and fussing over different brands, haha.
The clear plastic top on the left-hand section is NOT sturdy, fyi; I set a small bag of kibble down on it and it warped pretty quickly until I realized it and moved it. The lid on the top that opens is very solid, though, and you can store your hay etc. on top of it easily without worrying about anything giving way.
All in all, a great deal! Bonus: the rabbit is a huge fan, although he has yet to master going down the ramp at a reasonable speed. He also loves the carrot toy that was included, which is funny because I just assumed we’d toss it — he’s very particular about his toys but went after it with great gusto and still enjoys tossing it around.
