I bought this to go with some chairs procured elsewhere and so far all is well. Some things to note:
It comes with washers that are not part of the instructions
It does NOT come with AAA batteries, which are required for the remote
There are inexplicably two charging ports (see photos) – I’m not sure if one is different than the other but it comes with one 5V charging cable and a USB wall wart. Instructions say it takes 4-5 hours for AC charging or 4-8 hours for USB charging, but there’s only one charger. So, weird but I guess I’ll charge it for 8 hours.
Interestingly, the power button is housed on the base (see photo) but will not be touchable once you attach the black base. It’s almost like the designers were like “Hmmm, how are people going to charge this thing with the base on?” and rather than shifting both the power button and charging ports to the side, they just thought “Well, they’ll probably just use the remote for everything so who cares?” I never needed to hit that button for the remote to function perfectly.
The black plate does not sit flush with the bottom of the table, so it’s going to stick out a bit. There’s a square version of this table so I’m assuming the same hardware was used to produce this but if you’re looking for something that’s going to sit flush you’ll be disappointed.
I’m probably one of the few nitpicky people who care about details, but design wise I don’t think this thing is going to win any awards: the underside of the base seems to be haphazardly welded (see photo) but you’ll never see it unless you flip it over.
It was packed well, arrived without incident and pretty quickly (thanks Wayfair!)
The LEDs light up well and the remote is logical and easy to use.
The tabletop is not heavy and made of plastic: hopefully it holds up for a while.
