This does the trick if you have a space about 500 sq ft of less. Even if you don’t use the cooling option, the fan is pretty strong, but does not actually rotate.

It works pretty darn good.We live in the HOT San Fernando Valley in So Cal and this works terrific in just about every room. It’s easy to move from room to room when you remove the water tank. I recommend filling at the unit .It’s super lightweight until you add the water . We use distilled water . LA City water not so good for long term in small appliances. Also add your ice packs first so the water doesn’t overflow . The ice packs provided don’t really keep water cold for a long time so we froze bottles of water and wereplace them morning and bedtime . This keeps the water cold 24 hrs . The water level must be high in order for the unit to function in the Cooling mode. If the water is not 100 full the cooling will turn itself off. Make sure you fill it before bedtime so it keeps you cool all night . We use this unit to assist the old Central AC unit in our apartment .
