Looks great and just in time for Christmas stockings!The flame is as real as an electric fireplace can be.I like the black base it separates the white from the base. I find the heat is sufficient for a 12 x 12 room. If you have a great room it’s unlikely this will heat the whole space, but it will definitely add some warmth. As for assembly, it was not as bad as anticipated. It goes together with long wing nuts and washers. No tools required at all. Your fingers may get sore so I did used my wrench to help me turn the wing
nuts, but you may not need it. The mitered corners on the front had a small gaps so I did add some painters caulk to fill them in and that worked perfect. I am a female, very handy, but this could be done by almost anyone. It’s a one person job for the most part as long as your able to lift about 20-25 pounds. That’s about the weight of the mantel and electric box. I did attach the electric box using an electric drill.It’s four small screws that fasten the box to the back of the surround. There were no directions on how to do this, but I figured it out myself.I feel like I’ll eventually add a medallion to the front middle to spice it up a bit. I’ll see what the craft stores have and then I may just paint and glue it to the front.I’m thinking Starfish since I live in Florida. I’ve also considered tiling the black area around the electric box.It would dress it up even more.If I do that I’ll add more photos. If your looking for a wider, taller, fireplace than most that Wayfair offers than I would definitely recommend this.One last thing, you may need someone to help you to bring both boxes boxes in as they are heavy before unpacking. this one

Beautiful fireplace!It came undamaged and went together in about 2 hours by my very handy husband.It is just the right look for Christmas and after. The packaging was a pain with all of the styrofoam floating and sticking to everything, but it did its job and protected the fireplace during shipping.Removing the sticker on the glass is tough but we got it off with a razor blade and WD40. The heat this unit produces is cozy though not enough to heat our large room, but it takes the chill off. This is a great substitute for a gas or log burning fireplace without the mess or extra costs.We are very pleased with our purchase and Wayfair!

I absolutely love this fireplace! The quality is amazing and makes my living room feel so homey. Had maybe one or two imperfections in the wood, but definitely not noticable and is an easy fix. Highly recommend!

Love this fireplace. We have a 65 inch tv mounted above it and this is wide enough to offset it. The instructions for how to insert the actual fireplaces insert into the frame are lacking, but we figured it out with some trial and error. Overall, fairly simple to put together.
