Nice sized fireplace insert, and was so simple to install. The package does not come with a framechassis to set the insert. It has the screws that would be used to mount, but one would have make the frame. We converted an old console table into this portable fireplace in my picture. We took the drawers off, added some wood and trim molding to give it more of an actual fireplace look. The faux flames look nice when in operation, and the heating works great. Just make sure you have proper air circulation when installing. The back of our faux fireplace is open, so air can be pulled in from the back to generate the flow. Not a bad project using old furniture and scrap wood. The insert is lightweight, and has handles on the top sides, so it is easy to manage the install. If you plan to insert this in a wall, make sure you have created a frame for it. With all that said, it is a great looking functional electric fireplace. I love it.

This picture is of our early stage. We’re finishing our basement.This is being put into the wall of the game room.It’s great.It keeps our basement warm and it’s around 800 square feet.The temps haven’t been as cold as normal in Nebraska but they will soon be.I know my grandkids will be warm when they come to visit.

This is a very nice looking fireplace insert for the price.It has a very sleek, modern design, but could blend well in any type of surroundings.I like that it is backlit and has very realistic flames.You can also adjust everything manually or with the handy remote.The remote requires 2 AAA batteries that are not included.With the touch of a button you can power the fireplace on or off, adjust the brightness, and adjust how much heat it throws out.There are 2 heat settings depending on your needs.I purchased this for our master bedroom so I was happy that it is dimmable.My husband loved that this came out of the box fully assembled too!
I honestly don’t know if it is energy efficient because we have not had a chance to use it much yet.There is a great safety feature that if it overheats it will automatically shut off.I mentioned that this was for a bedroom but we have decided since receiving it to locate it in the basement.My husband is building a bar and we plan to incorporate it right into the base of the bar.So the photo I took is not it’s permanent location.It would not look bad just sitting on an entertainment center or some type of stand though.It will really make our basement family room feel comfy and cozy during our long, cold Michigan winters.
