I had a through the wall AC unit that needed to be replaced.Because it was an older unit going through a brick wall it was going to cost almost $2000 to replace.Nope!!!I got this unit to go in the only window it would work in the family room which is a large odd shaped room.In my honest opinion, i am finding this unit to be more efficient cooling down the room.Not only that but it is significantly quieter than the older unit.The last month has been incredibly humid on Long Island and I only drained the unit 1 time and not because I had to, but because i was curious how much water was collected and or returned into the environment.Not much water at all!Overall i am very pleased with how this unit cools.

This air conditioner works fantastic ! It was very easy to install(I’m a 65 year old women) and installed it myself!! Also I never had one that’s this quiet. When on high I can still hear everything around me-frigging incredible.I even love the look of it. It goes well in my living room with all my electronics! Glad they sent me message before I received unit to set flat for 24 hours before turning on for oil to settle.
Cools room great with 94 degree temp
Did buy separate hepa filter and would recommend it.
Shuts off completely when reached temp and turns on when temp gets higher.
Wish you could adjust temp range and fan would stay on low when gets to temperature
Would recommend it!

Great air conditioner!It cooled my bedroom very quickly. My window was a bit too wide for the short piece. I used some duct tape instead of attempting to cut the larger piece.I’m a single mom, trying to do as much as I can by myself instead of asking my dad. It took me a little time and a lot of patience. It’s not pretty, but it works.

We are using this unit in a 1000 sq ft area. It take the humidity out of the room and cools it as well. It is not supper cool but very comfotable on the 90 + degree days.
