Very difficult to follow instructions and build. Took over 3 hours! Not the sturdiest of desk. Will be hard to relocate it. Overall it’s a nice desk. My son loves it.

I bought this for my daughter, she’s a junior in HS and the size is perfect for her room. The two drawers have enough space to keep her supplies on hand, I tried to assembled it by myself but I managed to do probably 70% then I had to ask for help. But it’s beautiful and well made.

The purchase of the desk was very easy, however, when it came to ordering home assembly after the desk was delivered, the whole thing fell apart. I tried twice to order it, both times I was given a price and was assured that all is well but I have yet to here from anybody. I will have to go outside Wayfair to have it done. Needless to say, this was my first and last purchase from Wayfair.

I’m giving this 4 stars mainly based on price. My daughter was searching for a petite type desk with not a large L and she is a minimalist. This desk was the only desk we could find that fit the bill. I knew that it was going to be a “cheaper” quality vs a nice Saturday desk. So my only complaint is I feel the price is a little high for the quality of the desk. I bought a desk for my son that was bigger and much better quality for $99.
So with that said I knew what I was getting into when I purchased the desk and overall we are pleased with the desk. It is smaller then other desk (and taller for some reason) but it is perfect for her needs. There is no reason anything should cause damage to this desk it sits in the corner of her room with a computer and some decor on it.
My ONE complaint about putting it together is that you do have two hinges that have to be screwed into place from underneath the desk to keep the two pieces together. It has small screws (so that it doesn’t break the top layer of the desk) but there are no predrilled holes and you definitely have to have two people to put this part together. My daughter had to hold the pieces together while I got under to screw in the hinges. Otherwise my 15 year old daughter put it together herself. It is put together with the pegs and lockpieces that many furniture these days come with that make the installation much easier.
