The Eggers Mailbox Post provides an elegant solution for your curbside postal needs. Built to last with its unique marine-grade recycled plastic, this post is unyielding to rot and deterioration. The sturdy structure can be installed directly into the ground just like a regular wood post and still meet postal requirements. Includes a shelf that can be used to either support the mailbox of your choice directly or used as a platform onto which your mailbox adapter plate can support the mailbox. Please note that the Mailbox is not included.

This mailbox post is made of a very sturdy and durable composite material. Very well made easy to install. Only issue I had was one of the pilot holes was not properly centered in the support posts. Overall looks great and should last many years

I chose composite wood because I live in the mountains and we get a lot of “weather”, as well as salt on the roads. I don’t ever want to have to change out a rotting post or paint a wooden one. My current post rotted and the mailbox was falling off. I just set this in the ground today. Was easy and great. Looks wonderful. Top cap stays on with sticky pads, so we’ll see how long that lasts. Otherwise it’s a high quality item.
