This mount is exactly what you see here and it looks very striking in person, especially if you have a newer sleek TV to show off! My old 55″ LCD fits perfectly and does not need the wall connecting strap at all; the stand is as sturdy as a tripod should be.
The only thing I would mention is that I think it would only really work well if you don’t have a cable box and a bunch of other components connected to your TV. It’s all about minimalism for this one so if you have perhaps cut the cord and only use a Roku or something like that it’s perfect. You wont have a bunch of cords back there to take away from the look.
Speaking of cords, I would suggest forgetting all about the little cord managing clips they provide and getting some nice velcro straps to hold one or two cords to that back leg. The clips are a bit flimsy, as you might expect, and are kind of a pain to install. You’ll probably also want to think of a cord management solution along the wall/floor.

Really cool design. I have it in my bedroom with a 50 inch TV attached. It’s very light and I am able to move it around with the tv attached easily when not being used. I have a smart tv and everything is streamed so it only have the power cord to the tv to plug-in.
The directions say to connect it via a supplied cable to the wall to prevent it falling over. Honestly, the 50 inch is fine. I have moved it around and shook it back and forth and don’t feel I need it. I
can’t comment on heavier or larger TVs.

We really like this. It looks great and sleek and fits in a difficult corner. It’s perfect for our guest room. I was confused about the assembly but it includes the hardware for every type of flatscreen ever made. At first all that hardware was intimidating but then I realized I only need to use the type I need for my TV.
