This shade sail is all I hoped it would be!
We had an old rickety wooden ramada-type roof structure on four 4″ x 4″ x 8′ beams, which we removed; we left the beams. I was able to easily install eyes and turnbuckles to secure the new shade.
It is a beautiful blue to match the water in our pool. 🙂

Other than the fact that I did not measure my deck correctly (eep!), this shade has been awesome!We had to jerry-rig it a little to make it work for the deck size, but it has been so awesome to have in the hot southern sun! Plus it is a lot easier to take down than an umbrella, and can be used to cover the deck furniture during a storm!

Im very pleased with this product. I bought it to redirect the incredible amount of rain, were talking rains of biblical proportions here, from my chicken coop.
I attached two points to my house with turnbuckle, screweyes, and spring clips. One point is attached to a 2×4 concreted into the ground. The fourth point is staked about 3 feet above ground.
Since I installed it with a view to funnel the water away, it works perfectly. My 7 hens are happy and dry. It did not leak through.

Great product. We added to top of pergola-like structure we have and attached them zip ties. It provided immediate shade and cooled the area down. The color we picked is a sky blue. The only thing was that shape is not a perfect square -its shaped like a sail—so when we ordered it we thought since the dimensions was equal to length and width that it would be shaped perfectly square. It made it a bit challenging to place to get the coverage we wanted. We purchased 2 of them.
