This 65 Gallon Rain Barrel has a fine mesh screen to keep out bugs and debris along with a front-facing overflow channel. It also includes one cubic foot, self-draining planter top. The flat-back can sit right up against exterior walls for a reduced footprint and features connection points for linking rain barrels together. Two standard brass spigots are included for use with hoses or buckets. This 65 Gallon Rain Barrel also has a wood-grain texture that’s highly detailed, adding incredible realism to your barrel. The barrel was exactly as I was expecting.It’s a great size, easy to install, and looks pretty sturdy.We’ve only had the barrels installed 1 week but they’ve already survived 2 storms and filled up with water nicely – no leaks detected yet.I especially love the flower planter on top.It gives the barrels more of a decorative feel.I purchased the khaki color, which is a little more brown/tan than green, but not in a bad way.

Absolutely LOVE these things !!Soooo much cuter then the Smaller “Standard” ones at any of the local hardware stores, and actually cost less.All Hardware comes with it, (including plumbing tape), and you’ll have to put the spickets on, then just place it under a water source.If you expect overflow, you should plan for that ahead of time, but there are 2 small nibs at the top, one on each side that you can cut to open, and attach some tubing to carry water back to the downspout, or toward a ditch, ect.There is also a “planter” in the top, which has it’s own overflow.Seriously Great Buy – I eventually now have 4, and still looking to expand.:):)Love Love Love !!:)

have had this rain barrel for a year now-It is functional and holds rain water well. my only complaint is that there is a dip in the front so the overflow has an immediate way to escape-and to keep keep the barrel from exploding. However we had the barrel on pavers and after an exceptionally rainy period the overflow runoff from the dip literally displaced the stability of the pavers underneath the barrel. Now my husband is going to place cement there instead.
