The Impressions Palm 65 Gallon Rain Saver is one of the sturdiest and most eye-catching rain barrels on the market. Its appearance emulates the rough texture of a palm tree trunk, and with a deep welled top, you can plant an array of flowers or even a small herb or vegetable garden. The top also includes the Good Ideas original, integrated channel that automatically diverts overflow to the front of the barrel and keeps your foundation from flooding. The large opening can be used for 2×3 or 3×4 downspouts and is covered with a soft, fine mesh, and a plastic screen that keeps out heavy debris. Also included with the barrel are two sturdy brass spigots to install in the offset spigot locations.

A stylish yet functional moulded plastic rain barrel. The recessed planting area on top provides additional growing space. Easy to install with required hardware and legible instructions included. Opaque barrel prevents algae growth. Plastic screen on top filters debris and should prevent insect penetration, but I caulked around the edges, as screen did not lay perfectly flat. I installed a downspout diverter to address water diversion when the barrel is full.

Love the style , the oak color matched my house perfectly. Makes a definite impression to my home…looks like it always belonged to the flower garden decor….. does notlook out of place… I love it so much that I’m looking at buying another one for the front of my home. Absolutely beautiful…now all I need is the rain …can hardly wait for it to fill up !!

Very cool and useful. Our gutters end up with a line of ice across the sidewalk and down the driveway, so a rain barrel was recommended to solve that. Not only does this solve the ice problem, it looks cool and provide a source of water for plants and flowers. The top has a pretty deep and wide depression to use as a planter, so I’m looking forward to putting flowers in there this spring. The two spigots at different heights are very convenient for draining water out of the barrel. There is also a small overflow hole near the top that shoots water out of the barrel during a heavy rain if it fills up. Very attractive and functional addition to our house. We have it located in the front of the house and it blends well with the house. Room to plant flowers around the base of the barrel this summer.

Pros: Decorative look. Not just the traditional rain barrel. Has two spigots which is convenient. Matches the exterior gray paint of the house

I wish I had bought five more of these things.They fill up in five minutes in a strong rain- and I can water my plants easily with the hose I attached to the bottom.It’s strong plastic, but doesn’t look unsightly or cheap.I am so glad we got this.

Beautiful rain barrel, just as pictured. We used a fiskars diverter kit and had to drill a hole in the top, but it works like a charm!

I love the appearance of the barrel under my pergola. The position of the drain hole from the gutter pipes was in a perfect position and the extra area for plants made it more pleasing to the eye. I also thought it was clever on the angles when molded making it more than just a plain rain barrel. The spickets were in a good location which was important to the placement of the barrel in the corner.
