This 2-drawer filing cabinet doesn’t interrupt your home office’s decor while adding storage for your important papers. It’s made from engineered wood in a light finish with visible wood grain for a cool coastal farmhouse aesthetic. A minimal black-finished metal base complements the wood tone. The drawers sit on full-extension ball-bearing glides that allow for easy access to your paperwork. This filing cabinet fits both letter and legal-sized files. It can fit in offices that are short on square footage.

This filing cabinet was perfect for an office refresh project. It was easy to install and feels sturdy. My only suggestion would be to include rails for the actual files. You cant put it to use immediately without these and have to buy them separately.

Use the box to help position the lateral filing cabinet while assembling. It will help. Follow the sequence mentioned in the instructions. It will save you from making a mistake. Unfortunately I did not find a way to fix if the door is ajar. My bottom drawer closes perfectly. My top drawer is about a 1/4″ ajar so I put a magnet to help it close but there is a problem using a magnet because the drawer isnt thick enough for a screw so you might see a dimple where you screw in a magnet but other than that…all went well and I got compliments on it. It looks nice. Oh and though you probably don’t need it. I add glue to the screws and the contact areas. If you have frequent use the glue will give it extra strength because once pieces start to loosen its hard to restore it back to its original strength.

This was exactly the look I needed in my son’s room. Even though this is technically a filing cabinet, I used it as a dressernightstandtoy box in between two twin beds in my son’s room. The depth and width of the drawers allows for him to store larger items. It’s perfect!

great cabinet perfect for our decor…. we are unable to hang any folders in it as there is no middle bar to hold an actual hanging folder … disappointing that was but we are using it more as storage unit!
